Our Story

Hi, I'm Whitney, the maker behind Haute Dog Fashions. It all started with my miniature dachshund, Noodle. Nothing fit their long, low body, so I started making clothes that did. Today I have two new helpers carrying on that mission with me: Julep, my red smooth-haired miniature dachshund girl, and Cannoli, my cream long-haired miniature dachshund boy. Together we create fun, functional, quality upcycled designs for discerning and stylish pet parents, plus a few fun pieces for the humans too.

Denim with a second life

I used to work as a model, and I saw how much clothing ended up in the garbage. So I started giving it a second life instead. Our harnesses, vests and bandanas are made from recycled denim. It's 100% cotton, soft and comfortable to wear. Depending on the piece, you can choose dark, faded, bleached or white denim. Frayed edges and back pockets give every piece its own character.

Made to fit your dog

Every harness is handmade and inspected for flaws. Sizing is based on your dog's breed, age, weight and measurements, so the fit is made just for them. Velcro closures with snaps add extra security. A D-ring makes clipping on the leash easy.

A little sparkle, a lot of personality

This is where the fun starts. Add patches, embroider your pup's name, or go full glam with Swarovski crystals. There's even a denim harness with a tutu for very fashionable occasions. And yes, we have a soft spot for dachshunds. Just ask our Dachshund Only Social Club Tee.
